On May 8, 2025, the EdAccession project team, together with experts from LabsLand and TU Dortmund University, successfully hosted an international virtual workshop dedicated to remote and digital laboratories in higher education. During the event, participants from partner universities in Ukraine, Moldova, Germany, and Finland had the opportunity to explore: - Real-time demonstrations of interactive experiments in robotics, chemistry, and engineering Insights into building and using remote labs effectively in teaching - Pedagogical approaches and digital didactics in virtual lab environments - Possibilities to contribute to the LabsLand platform with locally developed content
- An open discussion on the current state and future of remote labs at their institutions The workshop sparked high interest and lively discussion among both students and educators, highlighting the growing relevance of virtual laboratories as a sustainable and inclusive solution in modern education.
